Like to see what you are running for ?
Everyone who has signed up to a Mencap Marathon event is invited to visit the new Mencap Centre in Belfast on Saturday 23rd April, 2016 from 10am to 2pm.
Tours of the centre will take place at 11am, 12 noon and 1pm.
Come along and see our new state-of-the-art centre which will serve as a new model for early intervention services across the UK and Ireland and provide much needed support services for families and young adults with a learning disability.
Tours of the new Centre will take place at 11am, 12 noon and 1pm.
At the heart of the new building is the Children’s Centre, a nursery for 2-4-year-old children with a learning disability, autism or developmental delay, many of whom have multiple, profound and complex needs.
Invite your friends and family to receive a tour of the centre, swap your running vest for another size and collect your cheer packs for family and friends to cheer you on with wigs, pom poms, cheer boards, bam bam sticks, whistles and flags.
Volunteer hour will be from 12 noon – 1pm where we will take you through everything you need to know if you are volunteering at our cheer stations, water stations or at the finish line.
