Top prize for top fundraisers

There’s a very special prize waiting for those who raise the most money for Mencap at Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon 2017.

Golfer Rory McIlroy is offering three pairs of tickets to the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open hosted by the Rory Foundation, with exclusive access to the hospitality chalet.

The Rory Foundation has helped Mencap build, equip and run our new Mencap Centre through matched funding over the previous year and this special offer is a tremendous incentive for anyone who wants to #StepUp4Mencap.

Those who raise the most for Mencap through the full marathon, the fun run and the eight mile walk will scoop a pair of tickets for the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open which takes place from the 6th to the 9th of July plus access to Rory McIlroy’s Hospitality Chalet at this year’s stellar event.

Portstewart Golf Club is the venue and this ‘Invitation Only’ experience is a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience world class golf up close and personal.

We’re also offering box tickets to the Grand Opera House plus two tickets too the MAC. Finally we’ve also got a complimentary afternoon ‘Tea for Two’ people at the Killyhevlin Hotel five star hotel and resort in Co. Fermanagh.

Mencap’s Fundraising Manager Vanessa Elder said: “We really appreciate everyone participating in the Belfast marathon this year for Mencap and all along we’ve tried to provide great incentives, like free gym passes, the chance to win ASICS trainers, running apparel, ASICs running beanie hats, mens and womens performance tops and running tights plus hints and tips on training and fundraising.

“This incredible prize takes this to a whole new level – this is an opportunity that you simply cannot buy!

“We hope it spurs on our runners and walkers to go the extra mile for Mencap and we want them to remember that every single penny raised will be invested into our new Mencap Centre to give children with a learning disability the very best start in life.”

Top fundraisers will be chosen on 30th June and notified asap if they have won any of the aforementioned prizes!
