Andrew Bonner, from Omagh was recently crowned the winner of Mencap’s sock design competition for the 2016 Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon and pictured with West Coast Cooler FASHIONWEEK model Olivia Szoszkiewicz and Mencap’s Justine Curran. Andrew is a tenant with Mencap’s Supported Living Service in Omagh.
As the official charity of the Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon, Mencap launched the competition to create a sock for runners and walkers who participate in the marathon and its associated events in aid of Mencap.

The winning sock was chosen by Cathy Martin, Director, West Cooler FASHIONWEEK, and announced at FASHIONWEEK Saturday 12th March 2016. 3,000 socks have been produced and will be given to Mencap supporters ahead of marathon day 2nd May 2016.
