Return to Mencap Northern Ireland
Posted on 12 Mar 12 Mar

Mencap is ‘Under Starters Orders’ for its annual Race Day at Down Royal Racecourse on Friday 19th June, 2015. Currently in its 16th year, the race day will raise funds for Mencap’s Big Step Forward Appeal to build, equip and run a new Children and Families’ centre in Belfast, so children with a learning disability can get the best possible start in life.

Justine Curran, Mencap’s Area Fundraising Manager said: “The Mencap Race Day has an exciting programme of racing, fine dining and live evening entertainment, hosted by local celebrity Pamela Ballantine. So any local businesses, racing fans or fashionista’s out there, get in touch to book a great day out.“ Tables seat ten and cost £1,000 (Single tickets £100). We can accommodate larger or smaller parties. Email fundraising.ni@mencap.org.uk or call 02890 691351 to book your table today.
