Foundations Set for Big Step Forward

Exciting news at Mencap as foundations have now been completed, the concrete has been poured and set forming the ground floor of Mencap’s new ‘Children and Families’ Centre’ in Newtownbreda, Belfast.

The new centre will be opening early next year and will support families and children to have the best possible future in life.

The Big Step Forward Appeal is delighted to see the ground floor going in at the new site.

Vanessa Elder, NI Regional Fundraising Manager for Mencap said, “It’s great to see something concrete to show how the money raised so far is being used. Thanks to everyone for all your great fundraising efforts so far.”

Mascott Construction is on schedule with the new build and we will keep you updated with any more news as it happens.
